The Commute Home

Oh my! So much to do! Why is this bus taking so long? The app now says it’s going to take 15 more minutes until arrival. There are always so many delays. I need to spend time with my family, work on my project, and build my computer. Why does this always happen when I have so much to do?

Finally on the bus! Hopefully, there are no more delays. It’s kind of spooky outside. I hope the driver can see through all this fog. Time to take a short nap — it’s been a long day.

So much to do, so much on my mind, and so little time. No sleep for me! I need to bring my ideas to life. I’ve got to keep pushing forward and do whatever it takes to achieve the dream! Ahhh—I just thought of another idea! I need to add this to my notes app and start working on it. NO SLEEP!!!

About Faded

On a fall night in November 2023, fog rolled through the streets. Stories were waiting to be documented. With my everyday shooter—the Ricoh GR IIIx UE—I was able to capture moments that felt both eerie and emotional. It was a bit of a challenge at times, as the autofocus struggled in the low visibility. Still, it just goes to show how important it is to always have a camera on hand to capture moments whenever they appear.

Fog brings both mystery and vibrancy. Objects and structures fade the farther you look, yet the haze adds a new dimension to whatever is right in front of you.

There are six images in total, but when grouped into three pairs, they tell three distinct stories. View them however you like—individually or as pairs.

Tools Used For Faded

The Faded Series consists of six pairs (6x2) of static images, each presented in both color and monochrome. These will be available either through auction or as "buy now" listings.

Faded is minted and listed using Transient Labs. The token type is ERC-7160TL, which allows for the inclusion of monochrome variants and additional options for each token, including the ability to add story inscriptions. Auction tools are provided by Transient Labs.

Photos were edited using Lightroom and Photoshop.

The camera used was a Ricoh GR IIIx Urban Edition.
